Gameplan Workstreams

Default Workstreams

Workstreams are used to group like tasks and/or tickets within the same category. For example, all tickets related to a Branding project, whether it be requirements gathering, mock ups, design specs, development or testing, will be under the “Branding” workstream. This gives the Project manager and team insight to how many hours have been spent on the workstream and help improve estimates for future projects.

 

These default Workstreams need to be set up prior to any Gameplan projects being set up in a project. You will need to determine the breakdown of any projects you would put against Gameplan for tracking.

 

For example: If you are doing a Training project, you may need to set up time for Needs Analysis (How detailed does the training need to be? Does any client staff need Admin level training or just User level?), Documentation (Writing, preparation, etc.) and finally the actual Training (onsite time for atrainer, or just training days required by client.)

To set up the default Workstreams: 

On the Workstream tab:

To edit any Workstream, click on the pencil icon. You will be able to edit the Default duration, percentages and/or staff.

Remember to click on Save to keep your changes or Cancel to keep the original settings.

Delete a Workstream

To delete a Workstream, click on the pencil icon to edit.

Click on the Delete button at the bottom of the Workstream.
